When we bought our house, which was 25 years old at the time, we knew one day it would need to be fully renovated. After 8 years and with the roof, HVAC and other miscellaneous items finally failing, the time had come to give it a full and extensive “re-do.” This being our fifth construction project in 11 years on various properties, we knew what we were looking for when hiring a contracting team to oversee the construction. Our renovation project on our Southampton home was riddled with problems when we reached out to the MD construction group. Understandably, we had reservations about them taking over where others had fallen short, especially since we thought of MD as a firm that dealt primarily with new, ground-up builds. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised! What we received from MD was top-notch, outstanding professionalism in every aspect of our project, from the construction team to the office staff, and we are just thrilled with the final results. They never pushed back or complained about the multitude of changes and adds we made throughout the construction project. In fact, witnessing the high quality of the turnaround, we felt confident enough to task MD with several more projects to expand the renovation project. It is to MD’s great credit that they made us feel as if we were their only client. Sit down meetings with Michael and his team are interspersed with invaluable tours of kitchens, bathrooms and interiors and exteriors. You get to actually see different design and construction offerings, from room layouts to types of tiles, floor options, staircase spindles, counter tops…..and a task that once seemed almost overwhelming becomes quite manageable as personal preferences are aesthetically incorporated into the final plan.
