Full-Service Interior Design

Space planning, concept development, material and finish selection, custom furniture specification, procurement, and full installation. Our team manages every detail from first conversation through final styling.

Finish and Material Coordination

For clients working with their own designer, our team handles the integration between the interior vision and construction documents: ensuring selections are buildable, coordinated with trades, and installed correctly.

Furniture and FF&E

Specification, sourcing, procurement, and installation of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Long-standing supplier relationships give our team access to quality and lead times not available through retail channels.

The Michael Davis Design & Contruction Advantage

Most interior designers work alongside a builder. Ours work inside one. Because our interior design team is embedded within Michael Davis Design & Construction’s design-build operation, structural decisions and interior decisions are made together from the earliest stages of a project. Material selections inform construction. Room proportions are confirmed against how the space will actually be furnished. Lighting is planned with the electrical scope.

Our designers approach every space as a functional environment first. How do people actually move through and use each room? The aesthetic follows from getting that right.

OUr Process

1.

Discovery

How do different family members use the home? What does a typical week look like versus a holiday weekend? What has always bothered you about past spaces, and what has always felt right? These answers determine what every room needs to do before anyone picks a material or a finish.

2.

Concept Development

A framework for how each space will function, how rooms flow from one to the next, and what atmosphere they create. Presented clearly and discussed openly so the client’s responses shape what comes next.

3.

Design Development and Specification

Every finish, fixture, fitting, and furniture piece is specified precisely, sourced carefully, and tracked through procurement. Material palettes are developed alongside furniture and fabric selection to create a cohesive vision across the entire home

4.

Procurement

Our team manages the full procurement process: ordering, tracking lead times, receiving, and inspecting every item before it reaches your home. Supplier relationships built over years of practice provide access to materials and pieces not available on the open market.

5.

Installation and Styling

Our designers are present through installation to ensure everything is placed, finished, and detailed to the standard the design calls for. The final review is whether the space achieves what it was designed to do.

No. Our interior design team is available in general contracting or renovation contexts as well. They can work alongside an outside architect, coordinate with an existing design team, or focus on specific elements where interior design expertise adds value.

We work alongside existing designers regularly. Our team’s role focuses on integration between the interior vision and construction documents, ensuring what the designer specified is buildable, coordinated, and executed correctly.

No. Our designers listen to how a client lives and develop a direction that reflects that. Projects range from traditional and tailored to relaxed coastal to clean contemporary. What they share is a quality of feeling considered and right for the people living there.

As early as possible. The most resolved interiors come from projects where our designers were part of the conversation before floor plans were finalized. That said, strong results are delivered at any stage.

Yes. Our team handles specification, procurement, and installation coordination from concept through completion. Supplier relationships provide access to quality and lead times not available through retail.

Absolutely. Targeted room-level projects are a meaningful part of what we do. Same depth of process, regardless of scope.
